Operation 19 - Vegetable Oil

Driving around and making money.

Summary

Continuing our work on our return to Anizay, operators visited Deraz and Tebbi to reinstate the fuel deal that ION had taken over in our absence. Waj and the Tebbi elder were very grateful for our help in Muzakhan.

Bastion visited Omar in Landay and acquired another vegetable delivery contract, transporting from Herati to Naudeh, but never agreed on a fee. Hopefully this at least curried some favour with the locals. While loading up in Herati, an ION little bird circled and left without incident.

They also renegotiated with the Naw elder to reduce the frequency of fuel deliveries to once every two weeks, as their town’s population continues to decline.

We spoke at length to the Naudeh elder, Rami, bringing to light some disagreement between the Fisherman and the elder himself. It would be worth understanding both sides of this argument in more detail.

The clockmaker apologised for the delay in the EOD handbook he promised, explaining that explosive materials and components required to produce the examples to reference in the schematics were being stopped at the border. He also raised concerns that the people of Mian, who vacate their town for the competition every year, hadn’t yet returned - asking us to investigate if we had the time.

As we regrouped at the airbase, Haven radioed Stronghold, requesting support as waves of militia assaulted the Southern gate of Dola. Repelling this attack with minimal friendly casualties, we let Haven resume control of defensive operations.
