Mission Day 7

Operative Leading Bastion.

Ambush Operation. Attempted Ambush on Stolen Fuel Truck. Bastion and Citadel on Front, Fortress and Guardian on Rear Guard. Guardian Squad was reportedly spotted and Fired upon by hostiles. Squads regrouped and pursued the Truck from ambush site. Truck retreated into Maku. Attempts to recon Maku for Truck failed and resulted in heavy casualties. After multiple attempts at entry, Squads cleared Maku and secured the Fuel Truck. Failure to clear buildings resulted in several ambush attacks. Upon Recovery of the Truck Squads Fell back to MOB. Reports of Hostile APC (BRDM) travelling as QRF from Dola.

Fuel Run. Squads Citadel and Bastion escorted Fuel Truck to Ali’s Oil to be Loaded. During this time Squad Fortress Negotiated Entry into Naudeh. Fuel truck was loaded and Convoy made its way to Checkpoint. Squads stayed at Checkpoint while Truck was escorted into Town with an armed guard. While on Security Detail a Yellow marked vehicle approached, one member disembarked and approached the Checkpoint on foot, after talking they opened fire on the Checkpoint. The threats were eliminated, although the vehicle or its occupant was rigged with an IED. After dealing with the aftermath a Checkpoint member approached us and claimed our forces had fired upon them as well. They reported the Fuel deal was completed and we would be granted access while armed providing our weapons are holstered. Teams returned to MOB and stored the Fuel Truck for future operations.
