Operative Leading Bastion

Counter the Convoy

Due to an intercepted message, planning began on ambushing a Convoy. We spoke with Omar about receiving notice on Convoys from Dola. Investigation at Herati made us aware of the Northern Checkpoint supplying weapons. They had offered to sell us weapons such as AK variants. After Notice from Lancer Squad we were made aware of a dispatched Convoy. An attempted Recon resulted in heavy fire with squads suffering a few casualties. Squads recovered 2 vehicles however only 1 was successfully returned to MOB.

Musakhan or Bust

We successfully made it to Musakhan to investigate leads. Reports of PMC arriving into town from the South. We did receive scrutiny due to the actions of some squad members. We travelled North to Deraz and were greeted with suspicion after they had interactions with the other PMCs. They identified the PMC as ION. We managed to prove our identity as a different PMC through our ATG patches and Painted Vehicles. After receiving information that the Elder would be available during the day we made to Return to MOB.

While on the road, just outside of Zaranj, our Convoy came under attack from RPG rounds. We managed to fend off the attackers but did suffer injuries and a casualty. We also managed to recover an additional enemy UAZ for future use.

Maku Defence Vol 2

While awaiting reinforcements we received a distress call from Lancer Squad and moved to provide support. After repelling the attack we began to clear the town. While doing so we noticed a PMC attacking Civilians. While restraining the individual Lancer Squad engaged us with lethal intentions. We eliminated the threat and stabilised our casualties. We then returned to MOB and recovered the Former Lancer Squads transport.
